Ray Bradbury
As mentioned in the Vladimir Krutov piece, today hasn't been a good day when it comes to significant people dying. What Krutov did for Russians who aspired to play in the NHL, Ray Bradbury did for the science fiction genre in books. Bradbury's most well known works include The Illustrated Man and Fahrenheit 451. It was Bradbury's fear of technology that propelled many of his stories, with Fahrenheit 451 providing great relevance, even today, in the wake of e-readers emerging and books like Fahrenheit 451 being on the banned list. Bradbury was 91.
